Los errores típicos en inglés por hablantes de español
(¡Y cómo eliminarlos de una vez por todas!)
En Talking with Cambridge House, siempre intentamos enseñar bien a nuestros alumnos y corregirles cuando dicen o escriben cosas que están mal. Pero nos damos cuenta con frecuencia de que ¡no son nuevos errores, son los de siempre una y otra vez! Argh!!!! Y cuando les corregimos, los alumnos suelen decir: “Sí, lo sabía –es la costumbre– me cuesta cambiar”.
A ti también, seguro que te pasa ¿verdad? Pues, vamos a intentar solucionarlo ¡definitivamente!
Errors of SINGULAR / PLURAL
Children + People = plural
News = singular
Children IS young. X☹ Children ARE young. ☺
People IS silly. X ☹ People ARE silly. ☺
The news ARE bad X ☹ The news IS bad ☺
Irregular plural nouns:
1 child / 2 children 1 person / 2 people 1 woman / 2 women 1 man / 2 men
ADJECTIVES:
Los adjetivos suelen ir delante de los sustantivos en inglés y no cambian si el sustantivo es singular o plural.

PRONUNCIATION STRESS:

NO PONER EL SUJETO:
En español no hace falta siempre poner el sujeto ¡pero en inglés SÍ!
